What data is collected?
‘Personal data’ means information that could reasonably be expected to identify you either directly (e.g. your name) or indirectly (e.g. through a unique customer identification number).

The following personal data may be collected and processed:

The time of collection of your personal data actually depends on how you contact SCHIAPARELLI.

Your personal date may be collected when:

Who receives your personal data?
Your personal data is collected and processed by SCHIAPARELLI.

We ensure that only duly authorised persons can access your personal data when this is necessary for the above-mentioned purposes. We do not pass on your data to third parties for commercial purposes.

Your personal data is hosted on the servers of CLARANET, a simplified joint-stock company with a capital of € 2,334,800, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 419 632 286, whose registered office is located at 18-20 rue du Faubourg du Temple, 75011 PARIS, telephone: 01.70.13.70.00.

Your personal data will not be transmitted, transferred or made accessible to any third party subject to:

  • - SCHIAPARELLI’s possible subcontractors for exclusively technical and logistical reasons, in particular carriers, delivery agents, hosting and maintenance providers of the Site, payment and fraud management providers, service providers assisting us in the organization of our events, third parties providing IT services, digital communication and public relations agencies, mailing service providers, third parties assisting us with customer relations services, third parties assisting us with qualitative surveys on our products or services, consultants, sites for securing transactions against e-commerce fraud (PayPal, Adyen, etc.).


  • - Any restructuring of SCHIAPARELLI, including total or partial disposal of assets, mergers, acquisitions, demergers and, more generally, any reorganization operation.


In addition, SCHIAPARELLI may use connectors developed by third parties, which may receive personal data when you use them. The different connectors and potential recipients are:

How long is your data stored?
SCHIAPARELLI undertakes to use your personal data only for as long as is necessary to achieve the purposes pursued.

Here are some specific retention periods:

  • - Personal data relating to your online customer account, including your orders, will be available for as long as it remains active.

    Once your online customer account has been closed, your personal data will be archived for accounting and evidentiary purposes.


  • - Identification data for the purpose of sending newsletters and other communications from SCHIAPARELLI will be kept for a period of three years from their collection or from your last contact with SCHIAPARELLI (for example, a click on a hyperlink contained in one of our emails).


  • - In the event of prolonged inactivity on your part for a period of 3 (three) years, we will contact you again to find out whether or not you wish to:

      • continue to receive newsletters and other publications from SCHIAPARELLI,


      • keep your customer account online.


    Your data will be destroyed within a maximum of 2 working days from your request to unsubscribe.

    In any case, you can close your account and/or unsubscribe from newsletters, at any time, by contacting our Customer Service by email at customerservice@schiaparelli.com or by clicking on the unsubscribe link in each newsletter.



  • - Bank details will be kept securely by our payment service provider for the time required to validate and pay for your order and will then be immediately destroyed.

    In the event of a payment incident, your data will be kept for the duration of the incident, then for a period of 3 (three) to 5 (five) years depending on the seriousness of the incident.


  • - Connection logs collected, subject to your consent, as part of the cookies and other tracers implemented on our Site, will be kept in accordance with the applicable regulations for a period not exceeding thirteen (13) months. For more information, see our Cookie Policy.


  • - Data relating to the management of disputes is kept for the duration of the dispute until the expiry of the means of appeal.


What measures has SCHIAPARELLI taken?
SCHIAPARELLI has adopted appropriate physical, technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against loss, misuse, alteration, destruction or access by unauthorized third parties, in particular by:

  • - Implementing procedures for the physical and electronical safeguarding of data collected through our interactions with you,

How are cross-border data flows handled?
